Summary

I'm a McGill Civil Engineering graduate working my way as data analyst. In my work I analyze data generated from IoT sensors, extract insights and build tools and technologies powered by machine learning. I'm well adaptable to new environments and enjoy places where fast thinking and resourcefulness are your best skills to use. I'm quick at learning and always looking out for new dynamic and innovative environments to share and build ideas. I'm a big believer in that all it takes to solve a problem is a little time, a lot of coffee and an overwhelming desire to get work done.

  • Conceived and developed a system to predict flow in traffic networks and update them in real-time by collecting, analyzing and simulating data

  • Through batched advanced programming, used Excel, VISSIM, STATA, SPSS and GAUSS, to generate code accurately depicting driver behavior and route choice. Used a fractional split model to estimate flow and turning data

Summer 2014

  • Coordinated a project with the Ministry of Transport of Quebec to asses and ameliorate the implementation of roundabouts in Quebec

  • Collected on-site traffic data using placements of video cameras and Vehicle Magnetic Imaging (VMI) plates for capturing vehicle trajectories and volumes

  • Worked with a team to develop software to track vehicles trajectories across roundabouts to determine most likely crash zones in an attempt to minimize this area
